Avid outdoor adventurers interested in hunting and fishing as well as Nature Lovers and Hikers enjoy our camps, horses and warm western hospitality. Adams Lodge Outfitters operates June through November in all three Marvine drainages, Game Management Unit (GMU) 24, lying east of Meeker in Northwest Colorado.
Adventure Adams Lodge style starts with horses and mules carrying you or your equipment into the Wilderness. We proudly furnish and maintain high quality wall tents complete with all the equipment necessary for your stay. Included are a wood stove, propane cook top, water, firewood, cots, pads, and the basic equipment for an enjoyable stay. You only need your sleeping bag, personal equipment, personal adventure gear, food and beverages, (mother nature provides water).
Our horses and mules are well loved, well taken care of and all part of the Clatterbaugh family. All tack is in good repair, saddles, and horses are chosen for the individual person. Bruce welcomes the opportunity to introduce youth to the outdoor experience, and as such must be accompanied by parent or guardian, older than 5 and able to ride on their own. These adventures are that—an adventure at altitude, involve physical activity, and horses and mules. Your physical condition needs to meet the expectations of your adventure. Summer trips include a deluxe fish camp set up on Upper Marvine Lake or smaller camps with limited fishing in East and West Marvine Drainages. These pack in summer fishing trips allow you to explore the rim underneath the Flat tops, fish the Lakes or creeks all the while enjoying a deluxe wall tent camp.
